This is the privacy statement of iPeople, located in Haarlem at Nieuwe Gracht 3 (hereinafter: iPeople), ipeople.nl
Applicability
This privacy statement applies to all sensitive information or personal data that you provide to us, for example, through a registration form, contact form, or orders you place. We place great importance on the privacy of our customers and, therefore, exercise the utmost care in handling and protecting personal data. We process data in accordance with the conditions set by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
iPeople is the controller within the meaning of the GDPR concerning the processing of your personal data. This means that only we determine which personal data are processed, for what purpose, and in what way. We are responsible for ensuring that your personal data are processed in a proper and careful manner in accordance with the GDPR. In this privacy statement, we explain which data we process and for what purposes they are used.

- First and last name
- Gender
- Address details
- Phone number
- Email address
- IP address of a website visitor
Purpose and legal basis for processing personal data
By agreeing to this privacy statement, you explicitly consent, within the meaning of Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, to the processing of your personal data for the purposes mentioned below. You can withdraw this consent at any time. However, if you do not provide certain data to us or allow us to process it, we may not be able to serve you effectively.
If you have not explicitly given us consent to process your personal data or if you have withdrawn such consent, the processing of your personal data may still be based on Articles 6(1)(b), (c), and/or (f) of the GDPR. In that case, the processing of your personal data may take place without your consent, provided it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party, or for the protection of the legitimate interests of iPeople. Additionally, we may have a legal obligation to process your personal data.
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Processing your payment
- Sending you our newsletter and/or promotional brochure
- Being able to call or email you if necessary to carry out our services
- Informing you about changes to our services and products
- Delivering goods and services to you
We do not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data were collected.
Disclosure to third parties
We may share your personal data with third parties if this is compatible with the purposes mentioned above. Disclosure to third parties may be necessary for the performance of the contract we have with you, for the protection of a legitimate interest of ours, or to comply with any legal obligation imposed on us. We conclude a data processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. We remain responsible for these processes. Apart from the situations mentioned above, we will only disclose your personal data to other third parties with your explicit consent.
Commercial purposes
We may use your personal data for commercial purposes, such as informing you about our services or relevant products or services from carefully selected organizations. In that case, you will only be informed at the email address you have provided. If you do not wish to receive information about relevant products or services, you can easily indicate this by clicking “unsubscribe” in the received email.
Your personal data will also be used for market research and optimizing our services. In this context, your personal data will be anonymized and thus will no longer be traceable to you.
Your data will not be sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes unless you have given your explicit consent.

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone during your first visit to this website. You can disable cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. You can also delete all previously stored information through your browser settings.

Functional cookies: These are cookies necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and, for example, remember your preferences. These are analytical cookies that do not invade your privacy, and therefore, we do not require your prior consent.
Tracking cookies: We place cookies that track your browsing behavior so that we can offer personalized content and advertisements. During your first visit to our website, we informed you about these cookies and requested your consent to place them. You can opt-out of cookies by adjusting your internet browser to no longer store cookies. Additionally, you can delete all previously stored information through your browser settings.
Google Analytics:
Cookies from the American company Google are placed on this website as part of the “Analytics” service. iPeople uses this service to obtain reports on how the website is used and to measure its quality and effectiveness. We use Google Analytics in a manner prescribed by the Dutch Data Protection Authority to fall under the exception in the cookie law, meaning we do not require your prior consent for the use of Google Analytics.
Access, correction, or deletion
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Additionally, you have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to data portability if we hold your digital personal data that we either process with your consent or to perform a contract we have with you.
This means that you can submit a request to us to send the digital personal data we hold about you to you or another organization you designate in a readable computer file.
You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, or data transfer of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, to info@ipeople.nl.
To ensure that the request for access was made by you, we ask that you send a copy of your identity document along with your request. In this copy, make sure to black out your photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN) to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.
We would also like to point out that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
